Fellowship Camp

Fellowship Camp

Save the date, August 16-18, 2024 for Fellowship Camp at beautiful Maranatha! Our all-ages, all-church retreat is an invitation to enjoy rest and renewal and explore a connection between mental well being and spiritual practices.

We live in a go, go world, and people of all ages (young children, children, youth, and adults) are not immune to the busy-ness of it all. A time set aside for rest and renewal is deeply needed, especially when we can be exposed to any and everything 24/7.

The theme for this week is, “Morning by Morning” borrowing from Lamentations 3:21-23: “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, God’s mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Plan to come on Friday evening, stay in one of the hotel-like rooms of Lakeside, enjoy the full weekend of rest and renewal, and depart Sunday morning. Or, you may choose to come only on Saturday to enjoy the day’s activities  (rock wall, pool, lakeside), shared meals, and wonderful conversations.

Lenten Study
Feb

to Mar 24

Lenten Study

Explore the life of Jesus with a study based on season 1 of the series The Chosen. Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful and far-reaching implications—although it says even more about the Chooser than the choosees. We are loved because he is love. We are saved because he is merciful. We belong to the family of God because Jesus invites us, making the Bible and all its promises as true for us today as it was for God’s chosen people.

This study group will meet on Sundays, 9:30-10:30 am, during the Sunday School hour, February 4 - March 24. Participants will be asked to view one episode of The Chosen series (season 1) each week at home and come to the gathering for discussion with leader David Smith. Childcare for all ages will be provided by the Sunday School program. Instructions on how to view the episodes and the locations for the nursery and children's classes will be provided by email. Please register so that we may build that email list and then join us!
