Kids! Come enjoy a burger or hot dog for lunch at noon with your family at our congregational grill-out, then gather at 12:30 in John Allan Hall for Kids Club! K - 5th graders will rotate in groups to two workshops. One is to learn through Music and prepare to sing in worship and prepare for the Christmas Pageant. The other one is to learn through a science or art experience that connects to our faith. There will be a special preschool program with similar activities for our 2 - 4 year olds! Join us for Music, Faith, Fun, and Friends!

The Goodtimers 2.0 group is for retired folks, or at least those who have a flexible schedule. Join us for our next adventure on Thursday, July 23, at Noon! The Damson family has agreed to allow the Goodtimers 2.0 group to visit their private classic car collection consisting of over 90 vintage cars! The Damson family supports “Not One More Alabama” – a non-profit foundation that is raising money to build and fund a center for recovering addicts in Huntsville. There will be no charge for entry to the collection, but donations will be accepted and appreciated. Jim Slate is coordinating this GT2.0 event and welcomes your questions. Another church senior adult ministry group will be there at that same time, so enjoy gathering with friends, old and new!

Come meet First Presbyterian Church’s new pastor, David Randolph, and his family, at Back Forty, on Wednesday, July 8, from 5:00-7:00. Back Forty is located at 3254 Leeman Ferry Road. Appetizers, tea and lemonade will be provided. Additional drinks and food will be available for individual purchase. Join us for all the church family fun!

The Deacons are hosting a Welcome Reception for the Randolph Family on Sunday, June 28, at 12:00, in the Carriage House and garden. There will be light refreshments and activities for children!

Goodtimers 2.0 is our group for retired adults, or at least those with a flexible schedule! Everyone is welcome to join us for this great event – so join us if you can and invite a friend as well! We will meet City Administrator, John Hamilton, and enjoy a tour of City Hall on May 21, at 2:00. He serves as deputy to Mayor Tommy Battle, and is a retired U.S. Army Colonel, having served as Redstone Arsenal Garrison Commander.

You can come on your own and meet at the front door at 2:00, or you can meet at church at 1:30 to form a walking group (it’s only a few blocks away) or hop on our church bus for a ride. We have a registration for this event so that we are sure of all the transportation needs.

We'll meet for sign-in in Fellowship Hall, and walk together to Sam & Greg's for a pizza lunch. Then we will head to Big Spring Park to learn all about the TN watershed from marine biologist Sarah Parsons! She will have lots of cool information and some hands-on experiments for us to do! 

The $10 fee helps to defray the cost of lunch. Join us for this sciencey-fun event!

For those who enjoy a hands-on activity, our Flower Guild will be offering guidance as you create your own arrangement using a collection of 30 vintage vases.
