We are building more than walls. We are building connection, accessibility, and joy for every generation.

At the heart of this project is a new accessible entrance with a gentle ramp leading directly to a brand-new elevator. This elevator opens onto the Sanctuary level, making worship fully reachable for everyone. It serves families with strollers, those using walkers or wheelchairs, and all who seek to enter with ease.

Just steps away, the courtyard is being transformed into a safe, vibrant playground for the children of First Friends Preschool. Laughter, learning, and play will fill a space designed with care, right in the heart of our campus.

Inside, new bathrooms on both the ground and Sanctuary levels offer convenient, dignified access. They are especially close to the Sanctuary, so no one misses a moment of worship or fellowship.

For the first time, a direct, covered connection links the Sanctuary to the education wing. This means no more braving the weather between worship and Sunday School, meetings, or youth events.

This is more than construction. It’s a commitment to welcome, safety, and togetherness for our children, our elders, and everyone in between.
