Rally Day is our joyful kick-off to the new church year. It is a vibrant celebration of faith, learning, and community. We gather in worship to launch Sunday School, choir, youth groups, and all our ministries with renewed energy and shared purpose.

A highlight of the morning is the Blessing of the Backpacks. Children, youth, and adults bring their backpacks, briefcases, laptops, and tool bags to the chancel. In a heartfelt moment, we pray over every bag as a symbol of the work, growth, and service each person carries into the year ahead. From kindergartners to lifelong learners, the blessing reminds us: God goes with you, wherever you go.

After worship, the fun spills out into the yard and people of all ages visit the snocone truck for dessert. Families reconnect, new faces are welcomed, and everyone finds a place to belong.
