Presbyterian Kids Connection with DJ Amerson

Our 3rd–5th graders gathered in the Fellowship Hall from noon to 2:00 for one of the most creative PKC Sundays yet! After lunch, DJ Amerson turned the room into a real movie set and taught everyone the exciting art of video production. We covered everything from designing a scene and setting up lights to recording sound, acting on camera, and working behind the scenes.
The kids brainstormed ideas, took turns directing, holding the microphone, and starring in front of the lens. By the end of the afternoon we had filmed a short video together, complete with laughs, bloopers, and a few surprisingly great performances!
It was pure joy watching our young filmmakers discover new talents and seeing church family members of all ages cheer each other on. This is exactly what PKC is about: learning together, building relationships across generations, and having fun while growing in faith and friendship.
