Presbyterian Kids Connection - April Event
Engineer and FPC member David Smith will help us discover how big space is. Join us for a little perspective and an enormously fun event! Presbyterian Kids Connection (PKC) is for 3rd - 5th graders. We meet once a month from Sep - May, from Noon - 2:00, in Fellowship Hall.

Babysitting Training Course
All those entering 6th - 8th grade in the Fall are invited to participate in the Safe Sitter Introduction to Babysitting course. Youth will learn best practices for babysitting and receive a certification in CPR. Class size is limited to 15 participants. So, register now for this great course, and look forward to babysitting this summer and volunteering for childcare programs here at church!

PKC Feb 25 Art Event
Presbyterian Kids Connection (PCK) is our youth group for 3rd-5th graders. Register now for our February 25 event with FPC member and artist Jennifer Mumby! We'll gather in Fellowship Hall at Noon for lunch and then Jennifer Mumby will lead us in a self portrait art project using paint and other media. We will be ready for pick-up at 2:00. "Welcome Me" Milestone for First Graders
Children in 1st grade (or older if they haven't previously participated), and their parents* are encouraged to attend this two part event on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Part 1: Communion Education Workshop at 9:30 in Fellowship Hall
Rev. Dr. Tara Bulger will teach about Communion
Children will make a layered painting as they learn
Part 2: Milestone celebrated at the 11:00 Worship Service
Children will be welcomed to the Lord's Table with a special blessing
Children will participate in the sacrament of communion with the congregation
*A parent or grandparent participation is required

PKC Wheeler Field Trip
Presbyterian Kids Connection (PKC) is our youth group for 3rd - 5th graders! We'll gather in Fellowship Hall at Noon for a quick lunch, then board the church bus for a field trip out to Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. Park Ranger David Young will be our guide to see the thousands of sandhill cranes that winter on the refuge. Join us for this super fun event!

WNL Winter Semester
Adults are invited to the Rev. Dr. Richard Brooks’ adult class Common Ethics in World Religions: How to be a Christian in a Diverse World? Youth are invited to design and share skits as educational moments for younger children to be shared in worship and at WNL. Children will study two spiritual practices and enjoy Children’s Choir preparing songs to sing in worship. All are welcome!

Blue Christmas Service 12/21/23
This service is designed for anyone who journeys through the holiday season with grief and sorrow, while the world around them is decorated in lights and joy. A space to remember loss, lament pains, and look to Christ for light and hope.

Christmas Pageant
Save the date to attend the Christmas Pageant! All children are invited to participate. Young children can be angels, and older children can be townspeople or shepherds. Costuming will be on Sunday, Dec 17, during the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30), or right after the late service (Noon-1:00). Then call time will be at 1:45 for a 2:00 dress rehearsal. Performance is at 3:00! There will be a reception to follow.
